Public survey on the future of child protection and digital identity. We invite you to participate by completing the survey.
Following the launch of the public discussion on child protection and the responsible use of biometric systems, the Institute 1 April is also introducing a public survey aimed at gathering the opinions, perspectives, and concerns of the wider public regarding the future of digital identity, privacy, and child safety.
The survey is part of the broader QEI (Quantized Encrypted Identity) initiative, whose objective is to explore the potential development of responsible technological solutions in the fields of identity protection and individual security within the digital society.
The Institute emphasizes that this is a highly sensitive area in which technological progress must never outpace ethical principles, legal safeguards, and fundamental human rights. For this reason, it seeks to involve the wider public, experts, researchers, legal professionals, technology developers, and everyone interested in the future of the responsible use of modern technologies.
The public survey includes questions about:
- digital identity,
- child protection,
- data privacy,
- trust in technology,
- the use of biometric systems,
- and the responsible development of artificial intelligence.
The purpose of the survey is not to promote one-sided solutions, but to create an open platform for dialogue where diverse perspectives can contribute to a more responsible approach to future digital systems.

The Institute 1 April believes that identity protection will become one of the most important social and technological issues in Europe and the wider international community in the years ahead.
Modern society is facing the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, deepfake technologies, automated systems, and digital platforms, making trust in identity and data security increasingly important.
The survey results will serve as part of a research-based insight into public perceptions of future solutions related to identity protection, digital security, and the responsible use of biometric technologies.
